Emre Çolak graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Law in 1994 and began his career as an attorney at Birsel Ortak Avukatlık Bürosu in 1995.
Between 2002 and 2025, he held a series of corporate affairs and compliance positions across multiple regions at various Philip Morris International affiliates.
Over the course of his 30-year career, Çolak has built extensive national and international leadership experience in law, compliance and corporate affairs, with particular expertise in risk management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and stakeholder relations.
He has also held board positions at several civil society and business associations, including the Ethics and Reputation Society (TEİD).
