Born in İzmir in 1958, Önder Türkkanı graduated from the Department of Economics and Public Finance at Ankara University’s Faculty of Political Sciences.
During his 21-year career in the financial services sector, Türkkanı served as Deputy General Manager at TEB and as a Board Member of the group’s leasing, factoring and insurance companies.
He joined Arkas Holding in 2001 and currently serves as the group’s Chief Executive Officer. Türkkanı is also Chairman of the Board at Mistral GYO A.Ş. and a Board Member at Ticaret ve Sanayi Kontuvarı T.A.Ş. and Ponsblok A.Ş.
